As Director of an internal AI Innovation Lab, I built and led a cross-functional team of ML engineers, data scientists, and developers to create a reusable platform for rapid AI experimentation. By translating business needs into technical project roadmaps and establishing repeatable processes for demo development—particularly with LLMs, RAG, and NLP—we reduced time-to-prototype from months to weeks, enabling faster innovation cycles across healthcare and federal use cases.
In response to a federal innovation challenge, I led the design and development of an NLP-powered community care documentation platform for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Acting as both solution architect and product owner, I managed the proposal, assembled technical partners, and guided a team of engineers to deliver a working prototype within a 3-month sprint. While we didn’t win the challenge, we gained valuable visibility and built a reusable framework for future healthcare NLP projects.
At an AI data services company, I served as a Partner Technical Program Manager and worked with senior leadership to map and streamline the full sales-to-delivery lifecycle. Through stakeholder interviews, process mapping, and operational modeling, I uncovered key bottlenecks and improved transparency across teams. This led to faster sales cycles, clearer team accountability, and a more consistent client onboarding experience.
